Our focus this week during theme study has been on caring and sharing at Christmas time. We started off our week by talking about wants versus needs. We also talked about what kind of gift we could give someone else and why they would need it.
Today we worked on creating Christmas cards for the troops overseas. This was a great activity to help the kiddos think about others at Christmas and show how one simple card could mean a great deal to a person.
As we worked we put a nice cozy fire up on our Smartboard and listened to some Christmas tunes! Here here a few goofballs trying to warm up by the Smartboard.
